WE ARE

(1941 National Marbles Tournament winner, Gerald Robinson, about to shoot at the Nationals in Wildwood, NJ.)

The Scranton Times photographs featured here are from the newspaper's archives, which were thrown out many years ago. Fortunately, some of these tournament photographs were salvaged and sold to a collector who has donated the images to The Marble Museum organization. Scranton, PA and Troop, PA produced several National Marble Tournament winners and runner-ups from the 1930s to 1950s. Many of these images are in need of professional restoration.
